Frequently Asked Questions at our Repair Shop

My car broke down, can I have it towed to High Country Diesel?

Absolutely! There is nothing more frustrating than when our vehicles are not cooperating. Make the already bad day go a little easier – you can call the tow service, tell them to take it to High Country, give us a call, let us know your situation, and forget about it! Your towing service and HCD&A will handle the rest! There are multiple towing services offered in the foothills including Big Red, D&J Towing, and Bailey Towing are some examples. Allow us to get you back on the road as soon as possible. If it is during our closed hours, feel free to have the vehicle dropped at our shop and leave us a message. We will accommodate your needs at the soonest opportunity. All local tow companies will know how to handle your vehicle, so you will not be inconvenienced by having to follow them to the shop. If it is after hours, they will drop the vehicle in our lot and drop the keys in our after hours slot.

How must a diesel engine be maintained differently than a typical gas engine vehicle?

Staying prudent to the Factory Scheduled maintenance is the best insurance you can buy for your Diesel. Diesel engines require more frequent fuel filter changes then a gasoline engine.
